The Milk Farm was situated on current Interstate 80 (former U.S. 40) in Dixon, 20 miles west of Sacramento. The colorful informal atmosphere, and the excellent home-style cuisine attracted a daily average of 1200 customers at one time, according to this vintage postcard.
