Vallejo is the largest community fronting the northern reaches of San Francisco Bay and is the home of Mare Island Shipyard. It is free from the cold fogs and winds of the coast and the heat of the valleys and is yet only twenty-four miles from the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the most delightful home communities in Northern California.
